The Book
A map of how we get shaped — and what it actually takes to come home to ourselves and to each other.
Dear Future Human is a book of forty personal letters written from one generation to the next, exploring what it means to be human at a moment when our technological power has far outpaced our psychological maturity. Drawing on more than forty years of clinical practice and integrating neuroscience, developmental psychology, trauma science, evolutionary biology, philosophy, and contemplative wisdom, the book argues that today's greatest crises are not separate problems but expressions of a deeper bottleneck: a human nervous system shaped for a world that no longer exists.
Written in the intimate form of letters, it offers both a compassionate map of how we become who we are and a practical path toward becoming who we are capable of being. At its heart, the book is an invitation to participate consciously in humanity's next stage of development — to cultivate the awareness, emotional maturity, and relational capacity needed to meet the unprecedented challenges of our time.
